GET Racing Dortmund recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, the team has built a total of 12 race cars, including 4 with electric powertrains and 3 featuring driverless technology. Currently, the team is working on its latest vehicle, the FS226. Throughout the years, a strong multidisciplinary team has emerged, consisting of more than 60 members from over 12 different fields of study. This diversity of expertise has enabled continuous improvement in international competitions. Most notably, the team achieved 23rd place out of 84 participants at Formula Student Germany last year. Building on this success, the team aims to further improve its performance this year and is taking a significant step forward in vehicle development by transitioning to wheel hub motors.
